Ned Austin
Ned Austin joined Fungus as a
'sit-in' vocalist in the early 70's. After years of
training on the guitar and bass, the band allowed him to
experiment with his musical abilities. By 2004, he was
worthy of guitar work with the band. Both Dic and House were
pleased he had progressed so rapidly. Encouraged by his
newfound skills, Ned began songwriting and has been a driving
force of Fungus tunes of late. His Grateful Dead
influence and love of country music has inspired a magical
blend of rock and country that now defines the music of
Fungus.
